Brussels Labour was set up before Labour International existed as a CLP, as a group of enthusiasts formed the British Labour Group in January 1973. The group works closely with sister parties from across Europe, sharing a headquarters in Brussels.

Despite the name, the branch covers the whole of Belgium and holds monthly meetings with speakers from the UK in Europe.
